An echo from history

Textile wall coverings have a long cultural tradition. Even in the Middle Ages, woven tapestries adorned the walls of stately homes—as an expression of wealth, but also as protection against cold and echoes.
In Asian interior design traditions, fabric-covered walls were used to divide spaces and reduce sound. And in the 19th century, wallpapers made of textiles or paper—artfully printed, embossed, or embroidered—were popular in middle-class salons.

Acoustic Wallpaper Woolpaper

    Acoustic window panels

Our sheep's wool acoustic panels for glass surfaces are a sustainable design alternative to window films or privacy films and are used as sound-absorbing room dividers. Whisperwool acoustic window panels are available in various colors, textures, and shapes. They can be reversibly installed using adhesive film.

The protective film on the back is removed. Woolpaper is pressed on, starting on one side, and any air bubbles are brushed out.

After removing the protective paper, Woolpaper can be easily applied and corrected; after applying it firmly, the adhesive layer reaches its final strength after a few days.

Woolpaper can be cut with cutters, dyed (stained), printed, CAD-cut using oscillation or water jet cutters or even provided with light (woolpaper is translucent).

Woolpaper can also be pulled over edges.

      Absorption

      Scientific experiments have shown that
unpleasant noises such as high-pitched whistling,
Screaming or screaming can be interpreted by the brain as an alarm signal. Sounds in the frequency range of 2,000 to 5,000 Hertz activate the
      auditory cortex.
Woolpaper is designed to absorb these frequencies and thus provides a significant
      Improvement.

Woolpaper is a space-saving, elegant and health-promoting option for a noticeably calmer atmosphere and improved speech
      comprehensibility.

Room acoustics are complex—every room has different requirements. We support you with experience, customized planning, and acoustic calculations.
