We make Whisperwool sound absorbers from sheep's wool because wool impresses us in four ways:

1. The acoustic properties of wool:

The fine hairs of sheep's wool are set in motion by sound. This creates heat, which in turn absorbs sound and at the same time improves the room acoustics.

2. The high-quality design made of sheep's wool:

The matt surface of the wool, its natural colors and our patented technology offer a wide range of design options: Whisperwool can be shaped, folded, dyed, printed, trimmed, embossed, x-rayed...

3. The sustainability of sheep's wool:

Sheep's wool is a renewable raw material that is now a barely usable product in agriculture (at least in Europe). We focus on regionality, which is why we mainly use Tyrolean sheep's wool and always know exactly under what conditions the sheep live and are sheared. Our products have a very long lifespan and are reusable.

4. Ergonomics through sheep's wool:

Sheep wool promotes human health. It reduces noise and is self-cleaning: it filters formaldehyde from the air, absorbs moisture, binds odors and protects against electrosmog.
